Summer Reading Programs

Posted on: Wed, 05/14/2008 - 10:42| By: GinaBina

Libraries kick off their summer reading programs for kids ages 3 and up in June. It’s a great way to raise confident readers. Sign up at your local library, log in your weekly reading hours, and your child may receive a prize after the program is complete.

Peoria Public Library is offering Chiefs game tickets and a private library zoo party. Chillicothe Library is offering small weekly prizes and tickets to the library’s Shore Acres pool party. Check out the Libraries List to find your local library, and get info on its summer reading program. If it’s not on their webpage, call the library itself for more info.

Berean Bookstore also offers a summer reading program. They award prizes throughout the summer and end the program with a celebration at their store.
