- Sheriff McCoy will be awarding one $500 college scholarship this spring. The scholarship is funded through the Illinois Sheriff's Associate Membership Program. Applicants must live in Illinois and must plan to be enrolled full-time for the 2013-2014 school year at an institution of higher education within the state. Completed applications must be turned in by March 15 to the Sheriff's Office. Applications may be downloaded at www.ilsheriff.org.
