Harvest Kick Off festival is Oct. 6 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. They are going to have a Rooster Crowing Contest on Saturday at 10 a.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m., as well as the Farm Challenge Scavenger Hunt, homemade ice cream, food, picnic area and local vendors.
Children's Day (Columbus Day), Monday, October 8, 9 - 11 a.m. Celebrate National Children's Day on the farm. Feed calves bottles of milk, gather eggs from the hen house, compete in the lamb races and harvest corn the old fashioned way. Ages 3 and older. Make reservations 24 hours in advance. Cost is $5
Sheep Shearing Day is the next Saturday – October 13, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. We will be shearing all the sheep, skirting wool and making a craft out of felted wool. The cost is $10 per person and reservations are due 24 hours in advance.
