Press Release from BYTS for St. Jude

On July 14, 2012 the 5th Annual Kids Helping Kids Backyard Talent Show for St. Jude (BYTS) will be held in Morton, Illinois, and with the support of the Morton Tourism Association and Morton Park District, the show will once again be held on the Idlewood Park stage.  Concessions and face‐painting begin at 5:00 PM and the show will start promptly at 6:00 PM.  Please mark your calendar, pack your lawn‐chairs, and attend this fun, entertaining, and family‐friendly event! There is no admission, but donations are greatly appreciated.  This year's show features 25 acts and over 45 participating children, from all over Central Illinois, in what has become a much loved, annual event benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Emergency Expo June 20: Helicopters, Fire Trucks, and Horses, Oh My!

From Peoria County Communications Helicopters, Fire Trucks, and Horses, Oh My! These and much more will be at Peoria County's Seventh Annual Emergency Expo on Wednesday, June 20 at the Shoppes at Grand Prairie from 4:00 - 7:00pm. Rain date is June 21, same time and location. Over twenty local emergency response agencies will display their emergency equipment in the parking lot along War Memorial Drive for the public to explore & experience, free of charge.
