This September the Peoria City/County Health Department joins the community to mark the ten year anniversary of 9/11 and asks you to take time to remember those lost as well as time to make sure you are prepared for future emergencies. September is National Preparedness Month (NPM), which was founded after 9/11 to increase preparedness in the U.S. It is a time to prepare yourself and those in your care for an unexpected emergency.
Please join us at Peoria Academy for this school year's first Open House on Wednesday, September 21, at 9:00am. Mr. Brendan Sheerin, Head of School, will take guests on a tour of our campus - 3/4 yr. olds through eighth grade. What is Mommy Moments?
Mommy Moments is a ministry of First United Methodist Church for mothers and soon-to-be-mothers of young children. It is a weekly gathering (with free childcare) that encourages women in their parenting, marriages, and their life at home.
