The Stocking Stuffer is a one-of-a-kind store in Peoria. It is where children 12 and under do their holiday shopping with a "Personal Shopper" helper. Each child registers at the door; parents and child are given numbered paint sticks to match up when the little shopper is finished and returned safely to the waiting parent. The Children ONLY Store gives children a great feeling of independence shopping without Mom or Dad. Children love to be able to select special gifts and have it be a surprise too! It takes place December 3-December 21 at the shopping malls.

Fencing is a sport for ALL AGES. Peoria Fencing Academy is the prime-fencing academy in Central Illinois. We are members of the United States Fencing Association. We provide beginning, intermediate and advanced classes in Foil, Epee and Sabre.
We also have programs for competitive and recreational fencers.
The Junior League of Peoria will host its annual Victorian Christmas Tea at the historic
Ballance-Herschel House on Saturday, December 4, 2010. With the Ballance-Herschel House as a backdrop, this historic home will be decorated for the holidays in an 1800’s setting. During tea times, guests will learn about the history of the Balance-Herschel House and several different Christmas traditions while being served lunch and listening to Christmas music played by a local harpist. In addition there will be vendors located upstairs for a holiday marketplace. Two tea times are scheduled at 11am and 2pm. Tickets are $18 per person. Come enjoy this holiday tradition with us!
Tickets will sell out early for this extremely popular March event. It is best to get your tickets ASAP, if you wish to attend.
What is Frolic with the Fairies?
A feast fit for a fairy will be provided and include items such as fairy dust cookies, fruit kabob caterpillars, chocolate covered bugs, fairy wands and snow queen punch.
Sandra McCone author of the "Three Little Lasses" series will be on site as the storyteller.
There will be a fairy fashion show, fairy storytelling, sing alongs, fairy photos, raffles (including a doll house), and door prizes!!!
