Be a Part of Illinois’ largest motorcycle festival as we celebrate the running of the Grand National TT Motorcycle Races. military or a veteran who has served. Greetings will be shared with Citizen SAM for inclusion in
Operation Santa stockings and with the American Red Cross Holiday Mail for Heroes program.

FREE hands-on workshops designed for children ages 5 - 12 offered the 1st Saturday of every month at all The Home Depot stores between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills, tool safety and instill a sense of pride and accomplishment. All kids get to keep their craft and receive a FREE Kids Workshop Apron, commemorative pin and certificate of achievement.

This 4th of July, the skies about the Peoria and East Peoria Riverfronts will be lit with the largest fireworks display ever seen in Central IL, building upon the new era of cooperation from both sides of the Illinois River. Schedules and locations of daytime activities will be listed on JMP Radio Group station’s websites, as well as those for The Cities of Peoria and East Peoria. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30pm and are synchronized to a special soundtrack broadcast on JMP Media Group stations!

Pekin Fire Days 2nd Annual Event. Noon - 4:00pm Parade on Saturday at Noon. Showcase local area fire equipment from antiques to new models. Pekin Fire Department celebrating 150th Anniversary. Free entertainment and kids activities. Held on Court and Capitol around the Courthouse block. Parade on Saturday along Court Street, downtown. Family event.
