This topic relates to the general design and content for the Peoria Parent Website
- The "View" or first page of the group will show you all the activity from events, blogs, forums, bulletin board.
- Click on the individual TABS to just see "Events" only, "Forums" only, "Blogs" only.
- When you post anything, double check the "groups" setting under the text box. Check to make sure it will show up in 'Mom & Tots', and uncheck the 'public' box. I will try to figure out w/ the tech person to make this default.
I have a local playgroup blog that also lists various events in the Central Illinois area...if I'm reading correctly, it says that you can post on the blog or use your own blog...can I make it so that it will import a event post from my blog rather than retyping it each time?

How to post a a new topic or a calendar event on Fit Moms
There are 2 ways to add posts:
1) On the left menu, click "Create Forum Topic" or "Create Calendar Event"
2)On Fit Moms main page, click Forums tab or Events Tab. Click "submit a new discussion topic to this group" or "submit a new calendar event to this group."
The fastest way to get back to the Fit Moms groups is to click "Fit Moms" on the left menu.
All users must create a free account and log in to use the Groups
To join a public group, click on the public group's link. There will be a "Join" link on the left side at the top of the menu. Membership is accepted immediately.
To join a private group, members find their group from the list. After selecting it, there will be a "Request Membership" link on the left side at the top of the menu. The manager will then need to approve the membership.
