Come celebrate ideas and technologies that green our communities—for the benefit of people, the environment and business.
This 2-day event brings together individuals, families, professionals, and business and community leaders to explore critical issues that impact the sustainability of our region. Organizations and businesses will showcase programs and products that can build a thriving green economy. Make a connection, learn a skill, share an idea, and be empowered to create positive change.
Kid-friendly activities include:
East Peoria Community High School will be leading some environmental arts and crafts activities on both Friday and Saturday. Wildlife Prairie Park staff will do a native animal interpretation among other things on both Friday and Saturday from 12pm-4pm with activities at 1pm and 3pm. Peoria Park District will do “Insects and Spiders” interpretation at 11am, 12pm and 1pm on Friday only. There are also a couple of the exhibitors will have some interactive displays that were designed for children. There is also the Landscape & Garden Day just on the other end of campus on Saturday. Families often take their kids marching through the display gardens and arboretum for a little pseudo-nature therapy.
