Now in its 16th year, the Chinquapin (pronounced Chink-a-pin) Folk Music & Storytelling Festival was named for the majestic oak that is so prevalent in the wooded valley of Camp Wokanda, the festival's birthplace.
Children's Festival for Schools and Homeschoolers
9:30 am-1:30 pm, $3/student
Call 570-2157 for school reservations. Children will rotate through six different stations to enjoy our Chinquapin performers. Children should bring lunches and a blanket to sit on.
Ghost Story Concert
8-10 pm
Walk the trail to Spirit Valley Amphitheater, where our Chinquapin storytellers spin tales guaranteed to raise the hair on the back of your neck! The stories will get scarier as the night grows darker.
