Cool Plants Purify the Air for You

Just watched how specific plants help filter the air of unwanted chemicals. There was a plant that helped clean the air around printers and copy machines. Then the gentleman showed plants that helped with the fumes from nail polish and nail remover.

It was really awesome to see a natural, beautiful way to improve our indoor air. Oh, another one was for new carpets. You know that strong chemical smell that the new carpet fibers have that tend to give many of us headaches. I would imagine it would take a few plants for that one.

Miss the Foaming from the Toxic Soaps

If you miss the foaming action of the old soaps that are toxic and harmful, don't think you have to go back to them. You don't.

What you can do is use a foaming bottle. They are awesome, you can find them online for just a few dollars or even at local stores like Bed Bath & Beyond.

If you have never used one before, make sure to put your water in first and then you cleaner. You know what is a huge added benefit? You got it - they save you money too. Now you can take your super concentrated green cleaners and make them last even longer.

Miss that Clean Smell with the Green Cleaners?

Do you like the idea of green cleaners but just can't seem to get away from wanting that clean smell? Not one that gives you headaches but just something so everyone knows you cleaned. It's ok if you miss it, old habits are tough to change but here is an awesome tip.

A friend just told me that she puts a little bit of peppermint oil in hers so it has a soft natural (nontoxic, of course) hint of peppermint.

I can't wait to try it.
