Wildlife Prairie State Park

Bunny Breakfast 8:30am-11:30am Get a good start to your day with a delicious breakfast before the Egg Hunt. The buffet selections are kid-friendly, so even the pickiest of eaters is sure to get some much needed energy before the hunt begins. Calling all 5-7 year olds for this program designed for having fun, learning and meeting new friends! By becoming a Junior Explorer, you can do it all!

Wildlife Prairie State Park

Witness the sacred Native American Ceremony of blessing the Park's bison and their summer pasture. The ceremony will take place at approximately 10 a.m. and marks the release of the Bison and Elk into the main pasture for the remainder of the season.

The Bison and Elk public feeding will also resume at 1pm on this day.

Take a step back in time and learn the ways of the pioneers through the help of the Mackinaw Valley Longrifle Club at the Park's Train Depot. Enjoy demonstrations like woodcarving, leather working, rifle firing, spinning and more!

On Saturday from 11am-4pm you can also visit a Civil War era camp set-up by the 8th Tennessee Regiment, complete with spring drill training at our Parkside location. All activities are Free with paid admission to the park.

When we think of sculptural art, we imagine something made by casting metal or carving stone or perhaps modeling in clay. With Art of the Brick we realize that even a child’s toy may provide the inspiration and material for creating imaginative works of art. The 29 sculptural works in this exhibition were created exclusively using the little colorful, rectangular LEGO® bricks popular with children all around the world.
